HIMA-USA will take place in the historic community of Lakeside Chautauqua, Ohio on the Lake Erie shore. A private, gated lakefront community, Lakeside Chautauqua is an ideal, vacation destination for people of all ages, offering an abundance of educational lectures, arts and cultural events, and recreational activities as well as shopping and dining options. While Lakeside Chautauqua charges admissions fees from Memorial Day to Labor day, your HIMA USA registration covers your daily admission fee to Lakeside Chautauqua, providing you access to the cultural, recreational, and educational offerings within the Lakeside community. Planning your stay in Lakeside
Lakeside Chautauqua has a variety of housing options including two hotels, cottage rentals, inns, guest houses, bed and breakfasts, and a campground. The Saga Advanced String Quartet Intensive programs include shared, group accommodations including shared bathrooms and kitchen.
String Quartet Intensive participants will be expected to arrive on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Final festival activities (final concerts) will take place on Sunday, August 16.
